Sounds issues

After installing my new gtx 1080 ti all my audio jacks have made my headphones EXTREMELLY quite and i hear a bunch of static. I've tried uninstalling all drivers and reinstalling, unplugging a plugging in my headphones and then restarting, and no progress. I'm sure its a windows issue, but cant seem to figure it out. Anything else i could do?

You done a fresh install of windows. I find when changing any hardware best thing you can do is start fresh with clean install of a OS and downloading new drivers on to a empty harddrive(SSD) so theres no old drivers to mess things up.

Otherwise have a look in your sound options. Maybe of of the settings is really low. Also sometimes theres extra options hiden away in the properties of the sound settings.
