Why intel Struggling?

Go to solution Solved by minibois,

Intel is worth $240,000,000,000 ($240 billion). They are definitely not struggling.

The last couple of years they have just not had the amount of innovation/progression as they should've.

They could've easily still been the preferred choice for most, if they just hadn't stagnated the market because of a lack of innovation from AMD.

AMD's aggressive "We're with you, customers!" marketing has definitely helped too. Of course Intel has made very silly mistakes too, but it's mostly they have just not been focusing too much on the consumer desktop market from - I'd say - 4th - 7th generation of Intel Core i CPU's.

We know that Intel is a very old manufacturer(Chipset).....It has funds, customer, die hard fans and huge make cap(still). So, question is why is he strugling for making new maket stratergy in market?

Or it could just make 7nm design{just lack technology}..........but still we know these are bussniess things so why just could'nt it just take that 25%(Example) of market cap from AMD sell it's processors(desktops and server) to it cuonsumers again with best market technology(not value for money) or best-in-class desktop cpu's and server cpu's with full potential.

I would see intel would come with blasting cpu's core(specs) but still how amd got the possetion in server cpu's then and what about Size design

They have just had a bad time getting good yields out of their 10nm process. Also, I believe they are trying to switch to a larger wafer size to reduce costs per wafer (300mm or 450mm).
