Nope, literally doesn't matter.

It would be more important to know which CPU you're running.

Edit: With the 9400f it should be fine. Nothing to worry about.

Budget (including currency):

Country:

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I have msi h310 vh pro plus motherboard ... I am planning to buy a rtx card ... This board supports 2080 ti but official does not show if it supports 3060 ti ... I want to know if 3060 ti will work on board or not .... And my bios is updated to latest ... Otherwise i will choose rtx 2070

most of the time pcie devices will work as long as it's PCIE

exception is unstable pcie signaling (but that's more of a board defect than anything)

so yes it should work just fine

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

It will, but if you have an H310 board you might want to look into getting a better board - H310 is not amazing.

Yeah i know brother ... It is a entry level one ... it is way better then my build from 2007 .... Does running card on this will impact the performance ? ... Except the fact that board has gen 3 pcie

The chipset doesn't need to be amazing for a graphics card to function properly.

I'd worry more about a potential CPU bottleneck.

I have i5 9400f and dual channel 16 gb 2666 mhz ram ... I will use the pc for making youtube videos
