Eco mode question

I was thinking about upgrading to the Ryzen 7 5800X. Is it possible to turn on eco mode in the BIOS or an equivalent feature? I don't want to use Ryzen Master.

Why?

Also Why do you want Eco mode?

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

one could save two settings, with softwares like msi afterburner. although only for the GPU but can reduce a bit by undervolting.

Maybe not what you want.

Else there might not be too many options, unless its a laptop or desktop getting an laptop like cpu with such features built into it.

Because of the 5800X's ridiculous temperatures? I'm not sure if there will be a lower TDP 5700X.

Temperature in the room or having a poor cooler?

I've read reviews and comments saying not even the D15 or DRP4 (I have the DRP4, 500DX case and 5x 140mm SW3 fans) could cool it properly. Way more than just one.

Would setting the Package Power Limit to 65W in the BIOS be equal to turning on Eco Mode? For a 105W CPU.

if it can handle that, and if it can handle it for the longer run?

There might be some places where you can get the number you can safely put it to, or if there is a software that can do that. (don't remember, but there might be one) Don't really know and some the motherboard can likely do some adjusting automatic, so don't go too hard in your BIOS.
