I need to know are there any HTPC cases that can take a mATX board and my 254mm graphics card.

Im tempted to buy a cheap case and chop it up just for the motherboard tray; with PCIe riser card to lay the GPU flat and some wood/vinyl work to make it look reasonable - at least in this set up I can take it to lan parties.

I mean, tons. Just go to PCPartPicker and filter for that length. But I feel like you have more requirements you're not telling us...

Main Rig: R9 5950X @ PBO, RTX 3090, 64 GB DDR4 3666, InWin 101, Full Hardline Watercooling

Server: R7 1700X @ 4.0 GHz, GTX 1080 Ti, 32GB DDR4 3000, Cooler Master NR200P, Full Soft Watercooling

LAN Rig: R5 3600X @ PBO, RTX 2070, 32 GB DDR4 3200, Dan Case A4-SFV V4, 120mm AIO for the CPU

HTPC: i7-7700K @ 4.6 GHz, GTX 1050 Ti, 16 GB DDR4 3200, AliExpress K39, IS-47K Cooler

Router: R3 2200G @ stock, 4GB DDR4 2400, what are cases, stock cooler

I don't have a problem...

I use that for my htpc case. It's plenty long enough for almost any graphics card. 320mm+ according to the specs. But be warned it needs an sfx power supply and it's cpu cooler hight restrictions are a little strict

prob need a small form factor PSU that can power a 5700XT, depending on the case.

No, I mean what do you want this case to do other than fit a GPU of that length? cause, like, any mid-tower can do that. but, if that's all you wanted, you wouldn't be here. so please, give us what your requirements are. is there a size constraint? aesthetics/colour? drive compatibility? cooler compatibility??

That's a huge distinction! You should lead with stuff like that! A sandwich-style case like the Dan A4, Ghost S1, Formd T1, etc. are probably the smallest cases with long GPU support.

If you wanna spend less money, find a similar case on aliexpress/taobao, or go a little bigger and get an NR200P or maybe go for a taller case like a Dr Zaber sentry, silverstone RVZ-0x (1,2,3), node 202, etc.

Edit: of course, since you didn't give me other requirements, these don't support tons of drives, huge CPU coolers, etc. because you didn't ask for those things. hopefully you don't need them

oh yeah oops i just went ITX cause i saw as small as possible.

uh, tiny mATX is harder, maybe the chimera cases??

Well I can't talk about stock in another country, but I can say basically any b350,x370,b450,x470,or x570 board will work. some b550s might not, but a lot probably will too (but I'd double check those). so make sure to check those before giving up. those are low-power parts, you don't need a high end board to run those chips.

sry i don't have more mATX experience, my mATX builds haven't been tiny (arc mini r2, core v21, nr400, i used a corsair 280x but for an itx board, my router is matx but just runs naked on a storage bin...). some cases focused more at NAS use (silverstone makes a bunch) are short, but not necessarily "small", could give them a look. they'd probably fit into a media console, but not behind a tv

i did but nm there is something else. If I go with a $200 ITX then I also need a new $200 small form facter PSU. Which brings me back to I might have to mod a case to make it slim enough to fit behind the tv.
