Pulled a little too hard!! What do I dow now?!?

should i just insert it back in?

I was trying to pull the cooler off and that happened lol, i dont think any pins are damaged but idk

grab cpu by the edges, gently twist and slide toward the edge until it releases, be careful you don't drop it. In the future try to twist/slide the cooler off the cpu to leave the cpu safely in the socket

Ive tried that, its completely stuck on there, should i try using a hair dryer to loosen the thermal paste ?

You can try that, not sure it would help. As long as you don't apply force to the pins you can put quite a bit of force into twisting it off...
You can swab with isopropyl all around the edges of the cpu to try breaking down the goop

5 3600 Cooler Pre applied one

Take a piece of dental floss and placed between the top of the CPU and the bottom of your cooler and start "cutting" the thermal paste. Be careful with the cpu it might fall and bent some pins, so do it over a pillow or something soft.

Can probably use the plastic clamshell the cpu came in (I'd recommend cpu down, cooler on top, so if there is a drop it's the cheap cooler and not the expensive cpu) Good luck

I don’t have a dental floss so i tried using a sewing thread, but it didn’t work, I’m gonna try using a hair dryer but I’m not entirely sure how to use it in this situation, should i point it at the heatsink or straight at the cpu? Any Ideas?

with a normal hair dryer the heat won't be enough to hurt anything. Heatsink is designed to dissipate heat so probably more effective to focus on the cpu

Dental floss is more tougher than sewing thread so you can buy one and try again.

Ive got it out, New problem tho, Just one pin at the corner is bent, I saw videos where people fixed bent pints, what should i do now?

Alright, Ive fixed the pins, applied new thermal paste, and my computers working fine now! Thanks for the help!
