Thoughts on this GPU

More vram will be nice going forward, but the 5600 xt is overall a decent bit faster than the 5500 xt.

Also, I would look for a different ram kit. You should be able to get a faster kit for less money.

or this if you must have rgb

they also have black and white, but they are currently out of stock on newegg at least

The 5600xt seems a bit more expensive and out of my price range. I'm not doing much on the PC, and the monitors are only 75hz. Do you think the 5500xt should be fine for its price, and keeping in mind the 75hz monitors?

And for the Ripjaws V Series, is there anything that is better than the corsair I currently have in my list? I don't mind if it has RGB or not, so if there's no difference and they are both 16gb, I might go with the Ripjaws V series.

Lots of problems with this build, so let's just state the obvious here:

1. Why in the world would you get a 9700K in 2020? Why Intel at all even?

AMD has a lot of better offerings on the CPU front for cheaper, also with more affordable motherboards. Get a 5600X paired with a B450 Tomahawk from MSI.

2. No a good GPU. Not recommended. Performance isn't even competitive with mid-tier GPU's from nearly 5 years ago (GTX 1070)

A used GTX 1070 would be about ~10% faster for the same price, plus you'd get better driver support with NVIDIA.

Nothing crazy. No overclocking. Just basic games like COD, GTA, and MC, and possibly recording/streaming.

For the increased price of all of these, and knowing I won't be using the PC for anything major, do I really need to spend the extra few hundred on all of these upgrades? And I chose the 9700K because I believe only intel processors are compatible with my motherboard. I may be wrong, I don't know much about PCs.

Shouldn't be any more expensive. The 5600X is $299, the 9700K is $269. The Z390 TUF is $155, B450 Tomahawk is $115.

If you have the motherboard listed already, then that would have been nice to know, it was listed as though this was all an entirely new build. Hence my recommendations.

5500xt should be fine for a 75hz monitor.

The ripjaws are 3600mhz vs the 3200mhz you have listed, and are also cheaper.
