specs : b40m s2h , 3200g, 16gb 2x8gb ddr4

if bios stock settings . cinebench r23 running single core benchmark is running ryzen master reports 1.4v peak voltage.

now if i try to overclock the iGPU just a little bit. with gfx voltage 1.16 and 1340mhz iGPU clock, the recorded voltage while running c23 single cpu bench is 1.55v ! ryzen master reports this value, as well as hwinfo64! (just gfx voltage and igpu clock touched , rest of settings are stock)

so it seems like gfx voltage makes the vcore to raise with 0.15v ! i'm 100% possitive that the gpu oc is causing this because i have enabled/disbled this a few times just to be sure

if manual vcore voltage of 1.2v is set with 3.8ghz all cores boost , gfx voltage 1.16 and igpu clock 1340mhz, the vcore stays at max 1.2v and this way it seems that gfx voltage is not raising the vcore as well

ran cinebench for 7minutes with 1.55v thinking this is just ''auto'' vcore and it's fine, hope i didn't do anything to the CPU. note that this was not ''just a spyke'' but a constant report during 5-7 minutes of c23

also tried to ran auto cpu clock frequency with 1.2v and core performance boost enabled just to try to see if i can hit 4.0ghz on a single core. but this way it seems like ''Core peformance boost'' behaves as ''disabled'' eventho it's on auto, because maximum 3.6ghz is what i get

No overclocking, no problems.

I undervolt

undervolting is a form of overclocking, albeit the more efficiently minded variant of it. You may not have hardware degradation issues but you will still have the joys of fine tuning for stability

Nah I run my dual core at 1596 MHz instead of 2 GHz.

This thread is not about me though...

Loads of other people complain about overclocking caused problems today.
