When Building a Gaming PC, your GPU really should be your most expensive item. A high end CPU like the 4670k is completely held back by that 650 Ti. You really should be at a R9 280X/GTX 770 or better if this is a gaming PC.

Change the GPU to a 750 (ti).

And, are you going to need an OS?

Edit: Just noticed your choice of motherboard... There's no reason to spend $200+ on a motherboard unless you're going for bling. Drop that down to a MSI Z87 G45 Gaming and put the $80 toward an SSD.

That's pretty unbalanced for a gaming build. Why would you even consider a 650ti when a 750ti is the same price? In any case you can do much better than either of those GPUs with that budget, a 760 or 770 should fit without much trouble. Get a cheaper motherboard and an AMD CPU (8320 is a good choice).

What do you recommend

Samsung 840 PRO, they seem to be the fastest and most reliable out of them all in MY opinion... I use an OCZ Vertex 4, but we all know how reliable they were. (Mine's fine, though!  :P )

EDIT: Almost forgot, the Intel 530 series are supposed to be very good also.

Because that will allow you to spend more on a better GPU. That 200+$ motherboard  won't give you a single frame in games, the difference between a 4670k and an 8320 is also pretty minimal in games, but the difference between a 650ti and something like a 770 is huge (over 2x performance).

Whats a ssd i dont know much about pc`s

Okay so the difference between and SSD and a HDD is that an SSD is entirely solid state and uses flash memory, which means it has no moving parts like a HDD does. This also means that an SSD is incredibly fast, much much much faster than your conventional desktop HDD. Thus, the best way to fully utilize the performance of an SSD is to use it as a boot drive, meaning you install your operating system and basic programs like Microsoft office and photoshop etc, while installing bigger files like movies and steam games onto your HDD. Installing your operating system onto an SSD makes it much more snappier and responsive, trust me once you've tried it you'll never want to go back. They are well worth the price.

You should get a more affordable motherboard because it doesn't affect performance at all. Unless you really really want it for looks, you probably aren't going to get any extra performance out of your system with a super high-end board. You can save $80 by going with MSI's Z87 G45 Gaming and get equal gaming performance.. The only thing that you may get out of a high-end board is extra overclocking for the CPU, but you haven't included an aftermarket CPU cooler (required for OCing) and Hawsell CPUs are generally more limited by the chip itself and not the board..

At >$1000, you're not really in the pricerange where you can afford to spend a ton of money just on looks. It would be much much better to put the money toward components that actually improve performance, like an SSD or better GPU.

You need to understand that for a gaming PC there is nothing more important than the GPU. If you're on a specific budget then you should cut down everything else (within reason) to fit the absolute best GPU possible. If you want to go with that CPU/motherboard combo and a weak GPU, that's your choice, but you will get a LOT less performance than a cheaper CPU/motherboard + a very powerful GPU.

You don't know what an SSD is? It's probably best if you do some more research before you pick your parts man.

FYI: an SSD stand for 'solid state drive'. SSDs are much faster than normal mechanical hard drives, are a lot smaller, have no moving parts, use less power and are generally better in every aspect except that they cost quite a bit more.

hmmm.. I was playing around on PCpartpicker as well, but I can't really beat the gaming performance of WoodenMarker's suggestion. I was trying to keep the 4670K and Z87 board (and toss on a Hyper 212 EVO), but that mean that the GPU would have to be a GTX 760 if I wanted to stay close to $1K..

Just as a side note, you will need to buy a copy of Windows (unless you're installing Linux), which will most likely set you back another $100.

Like others have said, if you're building it as a gaming rig, the part you'll want to spend the most on is the GPU.. That's why I said that WoodenMarker's suggestion was the best for gaming performance. He went with a more affordable (but still decent) CPU and a GTX 770, which will be hugely stronger than the GTX 750TI.

When I said that I was trying to keep the 4670K and Z87 board, I was just pointing out the fact that the only way to do that (and stay within your budget) would be to get a lower end GPU, which would ultimately leave you with worse gaming performance than you could get otherwise..

i7 not perfectly stable at 4.4.. #firstworldproblems

I think this is better
