Logitech mouse scroll wheel broken.

godor43482

I have the G203 right now and the scroll wheel is pretty much broken I think.

It still scrolls but it feels REALLY HARD to move and its like moving a rock.
And pressing it in almost feels like im going to break it compleately.

Does anyone else have any problems like this and any ideas how to fix it ?
I have tried blowing air, pushing and trying to clean with brushes but nothing.

Tried going to the physical store where I bought it and they have said they can't do anything for me and its technically normal for them even though it is in warranty so I was wondering if there is any way I DIY it myself without compleately rendering it useless.

You may have to contact Logitech

Yeah best thing to do is to contact logitech. When i first got my Logitech G pro X headset, the right side of it didnt work. So i tried going in to the store i bought them from and they couldnt do anything for me. So i contacted logitech, and they sent me a new pair within 1-2 weeks. They have never died on me since then.

Thats why im a logitech fanboy. They got great support and their products is magnificent.

100% this.. They'll even replace products out of warranty sometimes. I have had customers getting replaced their G930s for wearing them out or completely destroying them.

Start a support ticket on their website (or call your local logitech support, same thing) and they'll tell you what to do. Quite often they'll just send you a replacement and let you keep the old one too.

So I don't necessarily have to ship this old one and be left without a mouse for basically weeks ? :D

Most likely, especially since you are RMAing a G203, it would probably cost them more to have you ship the mouse to them than to just give you a new one for free.
