AIO Dead

Hi there,

I think my Captains AIO is dead, i was playing a game and cpu temps went up to 100 degrees. I turned my pc off and went into the bios and still reading 90. I checked the cpu pump and i couldn't feel it working. So I can only assume it is dead.

 

I am just gonna buy a new one. But not sure what to get. I see at my local place they have a hyper 212 evo, which is a decent cooler i read. But i wouldn't mind something that can do a little overclock on my i5 4690k.

Yes get the EVO, it's decent and should be fine for your 4690k

Just a thought since the aio is "dead" have you thought about opening it to see if it salvageable?

It's an inwin 303 rgb case

Yes it will fit

You would do it all through the cold plate from the bottom.
