Budget (including currency): $2500 USD

Country: United States

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:
Games: Cyberpunk 2077, Red Dead Redemption 2, Witcher 3, Final Fantasy 15, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Minecraft, Monster Hunter World, Assassin's Creed Valhalla.
Apps: OBS, GIMP, OpenShot, Discord, Clip Studio Paint

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I already have ssds for storage. I will be using this PC for streaming, video editing, and photo editing, and drawing.

I will not be needing any peripherals.

I'd like to run my games at 1440p at around 100 fps. I'd like to move up to 4k a little later when there are more options for monitors and I'd like to have at least 60 fps for 4k.

I am not set on the GPU. I will be buying whatever I can get my hands on between the 3080 and 6800 xt. I would prefer to go Nvideo for the nvenc encoder though.

I would like recommendations on which partner cards are the best for GPUS though since I'll be trying to buy whatever I can get my hands on at the local store.

I would also like some advice on memory. I'd like to go 32gb and wanted to know whether I should do 4 sticks or 2 sticks. If someone could explain to me what single rank and dual rank are and why one is preferred or the other that'd be great as well.

Edit: I've neglected to put a power supply because I am unsure what to get. If possible I'd like several recommendations that fit the budget and need since I will be trying to get them at my local store if possible. I will buy online however if the options are better, which they most likely are.

spending $360 on a mobo seems like a waste and a $170 case also isn't a good investment when it is not even a case for custom watercooling

Do you have any recommendations for a better mobo? I'm just going off the tier list on the forum so any insight would be helpful.
I'm open to case suggestions as well. I'd prefer white though. I was also looking at this but I've read the cooler master one had better air flow.

all the evga and strix cards are best in terms of clock speeds and cooling but tuf cards have caught up and nowadays most aib cards are in $730-$850 price point and msrp aib cards for the 3080 are non existent and you can choose between the tuf costing ~$760 with lower clocks, ~$810 for the ftw3 with good clocks and ~$850 for the strix with the best of everything

Thanks for the recommendation. So I should go with 4 sticks for ram? Also is the case okay? I thought the NZXT ones had bad air flow. I won't be water cooling ever or using aios btw.

the nzxt's are just ok and for $100 it's good value, they might not be the best but they do the trick and ryzen isn't power hungry and doesn't run very hot.

4 sticks of ram gives about 10% performance improvement according to a recent gn video and the nhd-15 chromax black manages to perform well while not look ugly in true noctua style

I'm okay with spending more if it's better quality. Also I couldn't care less what color the cooler was or how the inside looks.
