i3-10100 Upgrade?

I have a lenovo ideacentre G5 14 desktop. It is equipped with an i3-10100 and says "Up to 10th gen i7" on the website.

Which cpu in the 10th gen i7 series will it be compatible with? The motherboard is LENOVO 370A. I have also attached an image if you would like to see it.

You just have to look up what socket your i3 has, and then if a different cpu uses the same socket, it will fit!

 

in this case your i3-10100 uses a LGA1200.

an i7 10700 uses the same socket.

so yes it will fit.
