Which cables/wires (colors) should be connected where? the cables you see are straight from the provider on the orange connection is a letter E the black one says IN the blue one says DSL the other one (green) says TEL

Can you take a picture and post it?

It's a little confusing.

I have no Idea what you mean. If it's coming right out ouf the socket you basically hook up the socket with a cable to the port on the router labeled with "in" and then you hook up a PC with a ethernet Cable from the first out port and you should be set

I don't know which cables shhould be connected where there are 4 white cables always together with one of the four colors : green brown blue orange

I'll follow this topic and I can help you more as soon as you paste a picture, because there should only be one cable coming from the socket to the router and then another from the router to the PC

Well from what you're describing.

E= Ethernet plugs into your computer.

Green= Telephone plugs into your telephone obviously.

Black= Should be to your internet connection: I remember I had the old telephone connections from my prior ADSL2+ connection.

And no the problem is that i dont know how to paste in pics from my phone...

Try imgur.com.

TEL would be telephone line I would assume. Ethernet cable should be the largest rectangular wire, which you plug into the modem and into your computer's ETHERNET port. Plug power into the modem, plug telephone land line (from the wall/wherever) into "IN", plug the ethernet cable into the "DSL" port and into your pc, and plug the line from your actual home phone, if you have one, into "TEL".

I believe that's how DSL works, but it's been about a decade since I've had it.

Edit: I might be wrong about a few things because I forgot about the "E" port, which might be for the ethernet cable instead of the DSL port.

If so, I'd have to guess that "IN" might be power (you'd know if it were) and DSL is where you'd plug in your phone line from the wall/wherever, OR the DSL port is for a phone line from the modem to your PC's 56k modem port (which is also used for dialup) in case your motherboard has no ethernet. Can't do much else besides what I said until you post a picture of your DSL modem.

What is the name of your modem? Does it have any branding on it? Usually it's on the sticker underneath/on the side or is on the top or front of the modem. If we can find out that, you might not need to post a picture.

OK, just read something on a site and it looks similar to what you're dealing with.

All you have to do is match up the wires with the little ports. To put the wires in, loosen the screws and slip the wires into grooves and you should be golden after tightening*. Just match up the colors (orange with orange port/thing, blue with blue, black, green). If you're actually wondering which side the gray wires go into, I don't know if it matters and I'll try to find more info.

*Forgot that, figured it'd be obvious enough though.

Okay thanks but what about the white cables that are with a color because you can always connect 2 wires per color and there is always a white one together with one of the colors but i dont know if the white one should be left or right...

from a bit of research, you need to connect the blue cable and the blue/white cable to the blue box and do the same for the rest

I think what chicksoup posted might help you the most but it's different from the DSL jack you have. The best I can do to explain it from that image is to say that the white/gray wires go into the top or inner grooves/screws of each colored port/thingamajigger. I'm guessing what the "top" orientation for that jack would be away from your hand in the images you linked? Let me know if that's true.

If that doesn't work, the image is false. From what I read on a forum asking a similar question about polarity/positive and negative lines, what I said seems to be true. If you think you're set to continue, post results when you're done or if you run into any complications. As far as I know, no harm done if you mess up (meaning no damage).

Edit: In that same forum post, it said that in x/aDSL connections, polarity doesn't matter. From what I understand, this is what your DSL jack is for. Clarification: x/aDSL connections are to simultaneously use your phone and internet. Your DSL jack is just that; a splitter for your phone and modem essentially.

Sorry if I am super confusing. I'm just cramming from the internet and don't know a lot about this type of stuff. Also not sure how much you know, so I apologize if it seems like I'm dumbing stuff down/overly explaining.
