Spotify super high CPU usage

I am using the 7700k and when Spotify is open it uses about 13-25% of usage of the cpu. The usage is the same when music is playing and when music isnt playing. Isnt this waaaaay to high of a cpu usage for a music player?

And can I lower this?

delete the software

on a more serious note:

I just check with my 4790k. 0% usage while having spotify open and 3% while listening to music.

--> reinstall?

Just found out why. It was that high because I was on the Start Screen of spotify where there is like a constant animated video at the top which made spotify run at 20%. Still a bit high for an animation. But when I am on a playlist it is between 0-4% mostly which is fine I guess.
