After researching, I am unable to make a decision for sure on whether or not the Asus ROG Strix B550-A Gaming will be compatible with my new Corsair iCUE 4000x case. If anyone knows about any issues (mainly any IO port problems) these two may have, please tell me.

There should not be any problems. The 4000x is an ATX case, and the Asus B550-A is an ATX board. I have the older version of the case, and I have the Asus B550-A, so there should not be any problems, except the type-c port on the front.

The ASUS motherboard is mostly compatible with the case, just not with the USB Type C port of the case.

If you want to fully use the case you need a:

- USB 2.0 header (for the Node Core, for the RGB)

- USB 3.2 Gen 1 header (for the USB 3.0 ports)

- USB 3.2 Gen 2 header (for the type C connector).

A small price to pay for the case aesthetic to be maintained. Thanks for the help.

Out of curiosity, would there be an adaptor or something similar to make one of the other USB headers work for the Type-C port?

There are adapter to go from a USB 3.0 to Type C header (like the Silverstone CP-14), but that's only moving the problem. Because the board you mentioned only has a single USB 3.0 header, which can't be used for the USB 3.0 port and Type C port at the same time.

Alright thanks for the help, I'll probably just deal with it because there'll be one on the back of the case, if I even need to use it.
