Lol @ My Metro: Last Light Performance.

Aleks

I was hoping for a little more than 5-10fps on everything low. Well I guess it's time to upgrade my GPU. Anybody else have this kind of performance?

I think it's the new driver.

I also have a GTX670 and I just lost 20FPS in Battlefield 4.

I can't even hit 60Fps anymore.

I will test it now in some other games.

Definitely something wrong, seems like it's performing like an integrated Intel HD3000.

Try a different driver version. If you're haven't already then update to the latest drivers, if you are on the latest driver try rolling back...

OK so I just checked and I know the cause for my problem.
My GPU is not going over 705mhz for some reason.

It's been awhile since I played it, but I remember getting 30-40fps on ultra with AA off, I do have a 780

Did a quick benchmark:

1080p

Very High

SSAA Off

Texture Filtering: AF4x

Motion Blur: Normal

Tessalation: Very High

Vsync: Off

FPS = 80+

Turn SSAA to 4x and Texture to AF16x FPS=30-40 FPS

My bad, I was perhaps thinking of Metro 2033 when I'd quoted those figures. Seems Metro LL is a fair bit harder on the GPU, just ran the built-in benchmark with max setting (including PhysX and SSAA) at 1080P and netted an average framerate of ~40fps. Extrapolating on this score, given you have an arguably faster CPU, even with a single GTX670, you should be netting easily 20fps and higher.....systems specs for mine as follow:

Asus Crosshair V Formula

4x 4GB RipJawsX 2133mhz

2x GTX670 in SLi mode

GTX780 here, drivers up to date, 20fps average with medium settings with tearing (at 20fps yes!). And now the game blackscreen at start.

Edit: I read somewhere that it could be Logitech gaming software or fraps. I launch the game flawlessly without both software running (solid 60fps with all very high settings and SSAAx2). Tried launching the game again with Lcore.exe (logitech software) and fraps, no issues again so... yeah...
