Expansion Slot Damage

I'm assuming you're referring to the PCIe x16 slot. If so, it looks fine from what I can tell. Did something happen to it?

I was building my first pc and my GPU was not turning on and I’m trying to figure out if the PCIe slot was the problem.

Understood. Slot is fine. What do you mean the GPU wasn't turning on? Fans not spinning? No display output?
