hackgod

I wanted to ask the difference in performance going from DDR4 3200 C14 to DDR4 3600 C14 in gaming.

depends if the game is limited by it

but, i would say it's negligible differences, wont be able to tell in a blind test

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

Depends on Ryzen or Intel and what Zen generation if Ryzen. Intel? No. Ryzen? Maybe a little bit. Especially on Zen 3, as most reviewers that use 3200Mhz had a lot less performance compared to Linus which used 3600Mhz on his latest Ryzen video about the Ryzen 9 5950x.

yeah it will help, but what will really help is 4 sticks, unless it is dual rank each stick. And wow, how did you get these part lucky.

I had my brother just hit refresh every 5 seconds or so on Newegg and Amazon. As for the PSU, I had to pay a little extra.

In my expirience you really can tell the difference in old games (single core games like warrock) or bad optimized games like PUBG, I can  tell the difference because it prevents stuttering and smoothens everything.

In well optimized games like battlefield 1 and V makes no difference only gives you some little extra fps.

MSI z490 tomahawk
