GEARS OF WAR 5 SETTINGS HELP

Go to solution Solved by Mark Kaine,

have you tried GFE automatic settings? seems it's made for exactly cases like this...

PS: likely you have to set most things on high instead of ULTRA from just looking at this... ULTRA almost never is worth it...

Though I still suggest GFE automatic / optimized settings.

Hello everyone, here is a screenshot of my Gears of War 5 settings and benchmark, my question is, which of the graphics settings is worth lowering so i can get over 60FPS without losing allot of graphics because i am more interested in graphics than FPS for this game because i play the Campaign.

PC: Laptop
Intel core i7 9750h

Nvidia RTX 2070

16 GB DDR4 2666Mhz

1.5GB SSD
144Hz IPS Desplay

Personally, I turned down/turned off stuff like bloom, motion blur, fog etc...and mainly kept textures, level detail, and lighting very high, and the f.o.v. as wide as possible.

Running on a 1440p monitor with the ultra texture package downloaded and enabled on the settings i mentioned i get a very nice stable 100 fps, dropping to maybe 85ish at busy moments.

That's running at launch, before any real tinkering too.
