Why those 50fps look so bad on my PC?

Vastery

I've been watching some benchmarks on youtube for some games (to see if my pc can run it) and I look to the side and see THAT THEY HAVE 30fps AND IT LOOKS LIKE THEY HAVE 999+. While im over here struggling with my 59fps looking like I have 10fps. Why is that?

I have a 60hz monitor btw.

How long it takes to render a frame. At a solid 60fps you would have a frame drawn every 16.666ms. Of course in a real life scenario that will vary and you will end up with some frames taking less time to render and some more time, if the difference of time between each frame being drawn is too high then the experience won't be silky smooth. Frametimes are often represented by graphs meaning that you can see the difference between each frame being drawn in the spikes of the graph. For example this is what a bad frametime might look like.
