Mixing CPU models on dual socket motherboard

Anyone know if I can put a Xeon E5530 in with a E5504? Both are LGA1366. I have 2 5504s but the 5530 has hyperthreading and a slightly higher clock

the specific motherboard model matters, but I doubt there's a motherboard that doesn't support both

edit: misread the question. you can't mix and match these CPUs unfortunately. The 5530 would have to be solo.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Dang. Guess I'll just run 2 5504s, loose a little clock, and get more RAM channels
