I had the same issues and i was using NZXT CAM software to log temperatures and it was saying everything was fine. In the end I replaced the thermalpaste anyway and the problem went away.

It could be your temps aren't being logged correctly perhaps.

I'm an IT System Admin with 15+ years worth of XP, plus I've been tinkering computers since I was old enough to hold a screwdriver, so I usually know what I'm talking about.

Sorry I thought the GPU was implied. It's the GPU that is having issues so start there :)

Im using MSI Afterburn andi get like 75-80c under real heavy loads in games.

its a brand new PSU aerocool 650w

there are many aerocool models ranging from good to very bad. can you take a photo of its label showing the model and the amperages for each voltage line?

maybe i just noticed that under heavy load only one of the two fans are spinnig so maybe its just old.

try to play with the fan curve in msi afterburner, see if you can get both fan to work at some rpm and then set it fixed so that both fans work all the time

is there any frequency that both fans work? maybe worth taking the gpu out and trying to clean it see if the fan spins if you push it with your hand. most likely it's a dead fan, which isn't that difficult to fix

It really trys to spin no matter really the frequency, i have take it out and clean it, sometimes it spins a couple on times but then stops.
