Old hdd to new ssd copy software?

Ins1795

Hello, I am getting a new laptop but I also upgrading my old laptops hdd to ssd.

Can someone recommend a program to copy my old drive to the new drive?

I mean copy everything- boot partitions, files and all the non visible stuff, so that I can just switch drives with out problems?

I have already bought a ssd to usb case so i can plug in the new drive.

There is a catch. I am using this program that is like Finder for Windows which have color labels. Will the color labels survive the copy?

I have a lot of them. The app says labels are for NTFS drives only, which both drive are, but I am looking for a program that will copy all the "hidden bits" if that make any sense.

I tried a regular copy and labels do survive. I am talking about the clone disk software, so I can clone the whole thing, labels included.

Thanks

Disk cloning will copy everything on the drive, bit for bit, see macrium reflect free
