Fractal Design S2 Meshify

so i've been out of the PC game for a few years now, only just finding out that you can mount your gpu vertically, i'm looking at doing a big upgrade at the start of 2021, i've always liked the idea of actually seeing my gpu and not the bottom of the card, was wandering if you could do a vertical gpu mount for the fractal s2?

Yes but make sure your GPU clears the side panel which in most cases it should. Use the two vertical PCI slots.

if i can get my hands on one it'll be a 3090, so hopefully that should still work?

The fractal design meshify s2 has space for a 2-slot graphics card as a vertical mount.

So you should pick a graphics card version with 2-slot size.

 

Just so you know: Of course you get a better look at your graphics card if you mount is vertically but in most cases it results in worse thermals for the GPU because there will be the side window in front of the fan.
