Hi,

I am in need of some software much like the one Linus uses for his live video casts.

I need to have the webcam recording full screen with what my desktop sees in a much smaller inscreen window. Much like when Linus makes the desktop full screen for us to see and shrinks his webcam inscreen to the top right. (Webcam large, desktop inscreen small for my needs).

Anyone got any ideas of any good software that I can use to achieve this?

Linus what software are you using?

I am PC win7 based with a MS Life Cam HD.

Thanks

Cool downloading both now :)

Hopefully they can output to file rather than live stream.

Thanks :)

OBS can stream, file output, and both at the same time.

@ If streaming gets a bit weird just change how many threads you want OBS to use and it runs a lot faster, only downside is that if you're playing a game that is extremely cpu intensive then having OBS use more threads will lag the game. This is one plus for Mantle as it offloads the game's cpu tasks onto the gpu freeing up space to be used by whatever you stream with.. :D
