Rattling AIO

Go to solution Solved by AndreiArgeanu,

2

Problem: One of the AIO fans rattle from time to time, sometimes during idle, sometimes under load. It can be fixed temporarily by tilting the case really low or when I use my finger to stop the fan for abit before letting it spin again. There's no way of re-creating the fan noise as it only rattles from time to time.

Additional Info:

  • System is pretty new at under 4months.
  • AIO is mounted on top of the case.
  • Screws has been checked & tighten.
  • CPU Idle temps: 45c/113F

solution: replace fan, may be a good idea to research fans, noctua f12s would be good for the job if you just want a solid recommendation

Just now, AndreiArgeanu said:

RMA the fans. Chances are you can't really fix the fans and the most you can do is let it be or RMA them.

Are these signs of bad fan right from the start? Nothing I can do to fix it? I tired using fan controllers to see if I can adjust it's rpm but I dont think i'm allowed to since the software I've tried doesn't allow me to adjust their RPMs
