apologies, There are better options than the 2060 at that price point, regarding the gaming part but its a solid list but a little under budget if the OP wants to fully spend the 1500

For those workloads its a good idea. Those programs don't need too much gpu, so you want to spend money on the faster cpu.

True I missed the mainly for video editing, but the build about 100 dollars under budget. A lot if the old Turing cards are hard to find right now but at the very least a 2060 super with 8gb should be added. 6GB of VRAM is a No go in 2020. I would wait until the 3060 ti/3060 comes out.

Id say the part list is pretty solid but depending on your own preference if you want a better gaming experience pair a 2060 super ($400) usd, or wait until the 3060 ti comes out ($399 (rumored)) if your budget is strictly for the PC only then its a good list. If you mean an entire set up you might want to factor in a high color accurate monitor depending on the desired resolution you want.

LMAO oh no, oh baby no, you did not just pair a ryzen 9 with a 2060

Video editing doesn't need that much gpu power. A 2060 is more than enough especially if you already have 12 cores.

But yes i agree, if you can buy 3060, is a better choice (if you can wait till january).

For 2060 money, i would buy a used 1080 instead.

Ryzen 5700g @ 4.4ghz all cores | Asrock B550M Steel Legend | 3060 | 2x 16gb Micron E 2666 @ 4200mhz cl16 | 500gb WD SN750 | 12 TB HDD | Deepcool Gammax 400 w/ 2 delta 4000rpm push pull | Antec Neo Eco Zen 500w

Yep, but if the OP also wanted a good gaming experience as well with the left over budget there are better options than the 2060. Likewise used cards are always a gamble cause their mileage may vary, but right now the used market is soooo bad I wouldnt recommend buying used cards just yet.
