If its not the fan, maybe burn it with fire?!!! 😛

There should be no other moving parts in a PSU, thus nothing to make a sound like this.
I wonder is the PSU still working? Are you sure its the PSU and not another device that is close by.

Does it still do it after a power cylce? etc.

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

its 100% the PSU ive just noticed the fan slows then speeds up again and thats whats making the noise. My only question is why. xD Im going to replace it but if it cant last until next month id rather do it then.. but if its going to hurt anything else in the comp ill do it now.

What is and how do i do a power cycle. This might be a stupid question but im a novice when it comes most of this.

That's fancy words for "turn the thing off and back on"

The fan is probably just rubbing against something else or the bearing is bad. You could take the fan out, inspect it and see if it hits anything else (wires etc) inside the unit.

Be very careful opening a power supply though, input capacitors are likely still charged at mains voltage, so avoid touching anything on the circuit board.

If it's a CX600, it's a very old PSU.  It just needs to be replaced.
