- MSI ventus xs oc edition gtx 1660ti

- 16 gb 3000 mhz ram (oc 3200)

- Gigabyte x470 aorus ultra mobo

- samsung 860 evo 500gb

- maxtor 500gb hdd

- Corsair h110i 240mm aio

 

Playing on a 24" 144 hz 1080p monitor and watching videos on a 27" 4k 60 hz monitor

 

Thinking of upgrading some parts of my pc so i can gain some more performance in my applications and get better access to overclocking (current mobo/cpu is unable to handle much overclocking, gpu loses performance as i overclock)

also low on storage so suggestions on a budget friendly but speedy addition/replacement would be nice

Overclocking is overrated, massive increase in power drawn, temperature and instability to trade for a teeny tiny little performance.

You're better off upgrading the actual GPU if your PSU can handle it.

wait until the bios for the 5000 series is released for x470 motherboards (january) and get a 5600x or a 5800-5900x
