980 Ti Lightning smokeshow

So my 980 Ti lightning died yesterday. I'm actually pretty surprised by this since it is so overbuilt in most areas. Was looking forward to a 3080 lightning. Not so sure anymore. I do still like the type of card it was. Does anyone have any suggestions of other brands with similar design when it comes to cooler and power delivery?

i would wait for the 6xxx series third party cards to release before making a decision, we should be getting benchmarks today and tomorrow, so keep your eyes open.
