MPower Max RAID

Go to solution Solved by xXxYOLOxSWAGxXx_420BlazeIt,

Hi there,

I recently did an upgrade to my setup and chose a MSI MPower Max, I also have two Samsung 840 Pro SSDs and wish to set them up in RAID but as far as I can see, i can only set up Super Raid (A utility that comes with the mobo). If i setup Super Raid, it does not connect either drive together. what could i do to possibly fix this issue?

I dont have time to look at the boards manual, but make sure that they are connected to the correct SATA controller/ports.

The manual should have a part that explains how to configure the RAID.

Use the Disk Management in Windows to set them up in a RAID? Though if you want to boot off of the two SSDs that won't work.

That would give even worse performance, and he wouldnt be able to install his OS onto the RAID volume if he configured it that way.

It's alright guys, thanks for your help but I did find a way without having to use Super Raid. Both SSDs were plugged into the Intel controller SATA ports and it was a simple set up from there to enter before the computer starts to POST. I set it up and managed to make the drives come together without too much trouble lol. Much appreciated for your input :)
