Can someone help me set up a minecraft server accessible form external network?

yeah but almost all of us play on sp where you need to create a server even to play on lan

If op is inexperienced in setting up this stuff they would be unwise to attempt to do this by themselves

 

Honestly if it's just a few of you and you have the money then the simplest solution is just to buy a Minecraft Realm.

You have to open/forward the correct ports on your home router.

 

This is why I don't recommend doing this alone - if you don't know what you're doing you can leave the network vulnerable to external attack.

 

I suggest you do a quick search for "minecraft server portforwarding"; there's loads of tutorials that you can follow which should help you out.
