Go to solution Solved by RollinLower,

that's aRGB, you can use an adressable RGB controller to power it if you don't want to use your motherboard.

is there any cheaper way?

Yes, no RGB at all. Well, you could mod it. The pins are 5V power, ground and digital controls. You could splice just power and ground. But then again, controllers aren't that expensive.
