How can I disable windows startup sign in?

knight_40k

So, I just built a new PC and made a new media creation tool for windows download, but to my surprise they added a lot of BS and now I have to sign in to my PC when I power it on? How can I turn this off?

use the windows search for "run", hit enter, then type "netplwiz" in the run command window, it will open a new settings window with "users must enter a username and password to use this computer", uncheck the box next to it and hit okay, enter your current password in both boxes and hit okay, you have now bypassed windows login.

Sorry OP for jumping in here to get an answer of my own to something but @GhostRoadieBL does this work with Windows 7 64 bit and many other versions of Windows?

netplwiz is still in windows 7, should be the same process other than using search. (it's been a few years) but I think you'll have to open task manager and go file "run new task" and follow the same process.

It didnt work, only created a second user but still wants me to input my pin when I sign in.

Is there a way to bypass this entirely when installing WIN10 or is this BS that you have to sign up through skype mandatory? Because I did not see any options to skip or bypass when installing.
