What storage to add?

Hi, 

Did our first computer build during covid. I realize now that 500gb is not enough storage for modern games. Any suggestions on how to increase storage? Budget under $200CAD

Replace 500GB Crucial or add something like the Samsung 860 EVO?

I suggest getting a big HDD.

For games you can install it on HDD, there's no huge difference running games in HDD.

I'm not sure, at least 1TB. But realizing the size of games now, that probably won't be enough for future use

2-3 TB would probably be fine.

4 TB if you have a habit of never deleting things (like I do, which is how I've used up 3 TB in 6 months (granted, 1 TB was from my dad)).

And if you want the maximum capacity possible from a spinny disk, get a 16 TB hard drive for that raw storage.

Just make sure it isn't SMR
