Budget (including currency): No limit

Country: Norway

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Blender, Videoediting, Streaming and mostly gaming

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Ryzen 9 5900X

Nvidia Geforce RTX 3080

Hello! I am planning on building a new gaming/streaming computer and to start off i plan using a monitor packing 1440p Res on 144hz. Will the 5900X go well along the 3080? Another question is, is the g.skill's timing advantage over Corsairs ram chips something worth considering for performance? None of the vengeance pro/dominator chips seem to beat g.skills CL14 (Assuming the same Mhz). Other than that i'm not sure what else to ask for. Motherboard isnt decided yet but i plan doing asus because of RGB compatibility with corsairs rgb stuff through ICUE (which is why i plan using rgb memory as well).

I realize i wasn't terribly specific. The trident Z RGB 2 x 8 GB 3600 Mhz CL16 vs Corsair vengeance pro RGB 2 x 8 GB 3600 Mhz CL18

Neo Trident Z is a high performer for AMD CPUs overall, I’d suggest that.

Potato Revamp

CPU: AMD 5900x || GPU: nVidia RTX 3080 || RAM: 32gb Trident Z Neo CL16 || Case: Fractal Torrent Compact || CPU Cooler: Scythe Fuma 2 || PSU: Corsair RM850 Gold || Storage: ADATA SX8200 Pro (1TB), 2x Samsung Evo 870 (2TB)
