Budget (including currency): 1000-1500€

Country: Croatia (but can order from Germany, Austria and so on)

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming (RDR2, Cyberpunk2077, Breakpoint) and possbily AutoCAD (but that is secondary)

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

CPU: Ryzen5 5600x

MBO: ASRock x570 Pro4

GPU: waiting for Big Navi reveal and reviews, but it's between 3070 and 6800 most likely

Memory: G.Skill Trident Z TZKW 2x8GB 3200MHz CL16(one or two, depends on money; if one, then I will be upgrading some time later)

Fan: Noctua NH-U12S (but I'm thinking also about Hyper 212x)

PSU: Gigabyte P750GM 80+ Gold

Chasis: Phanteks P400A

Disks I have from previous computer, samsung NVM.e and some samsung SSDs, i will stay with that for now.

So hello everyone, and thank you for your time and help. I'm planning on upgrading my old 4970 and this is what i came up with. Since I dont follow this things so much anymore, I wanted to double check my selected parts just to see that i didn't make some mistakes. What do you guys think, is this a viable build or there are things to change? I can afford up to 1500€, but prefer to spent as less as possible (who doesn't? :))

Big issue, as I see it, is motherboard that maybe will need old CPU to upgrade bios. Is there any way to ensure that i get board with updated bios already?

Regarding GPU, I'm waiting for AMD reveal next week and, considering reviews and price, will choose which card to go with. If it's gonna be 3070, I was looking at EVGA RTX3070 XC3 Gaming. Since it cost 599€, and recommended price for 6800XT is rumored to be 649$ (550€), I will consider getting that one then. Or maybe plain 6800, we will see soon I guess.

This will be primary for gaming, but maybe I will do some work on it (depends on COVID situation). As for AutoCAD, it is basically single core app and on this pc it will run just fine.

Monitor and externals are not needed. Current monitor I have is LG ultrawide (34UC79G-B) 144Hz and resolution 2560 x 1080.
