CMOS Battery

If you shut your system down, and it regularly performs a clear CMOS, it's time to replace it.

That the BIOS complains about your settings having been reset to defaults every time you turn a PC on. Considering that these batteries have been designed to last 10+ years, it's very much unlikely your battery is a goner.
