Hey! So I have a question about my GPU. In my laptop I have a built in Intel Graphics and also a dedicated Nvidia Graphics cars MX something. I was wondering since I have my graphics settings to auto so onboard graphics are used for everything casual (day to day tasks) browsing the web watching videos etc. And the Nvidia is only used for games and more demanding stuff. My question is should I force the Nvidia GPU to be always on(used for everything) or is that a bad idea because it will eat up the battery? The onboard graphics are fine but I notice stutters when I watch videos in higher resolution.(rarely but they are still there). Also if I want to see something in detail and I pause and unpause a video really quickly it skips frames. And if I jump from one time of the video to another sometimes I noticed glitches(occasionally glitches appear even if I am watching normally without skipping). For example I noticed blinking white dots after the end of the video on the screen after I jumped back in the video and then went to the end again they disappeared. So I am thinking could it be that my built in GPU is not very powerful and YouTube is stressing it out a lot? I mean after all it's videos in hd or 4k. So should I switch to the Nvidia obviously it's way more powerful for everything and give the onboard a break? Or should I switch only for YouTube? Or should I not switch at all?

that is a cpu problem afaik

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

All right. How about the screen glitches that I noticed. Not only in YouTube I am doing Microsoft Excel stuff and when I am switching windows(worksheets) it flashes black for a second there(to be fair that happened only once-in one excel session I mean so it happened often but only on one session it didn't happen on the other sessions I did(you know I regularly use it so that's why I am saying sessions)  and then it was  when I was on a meet call  as well although I don't know if that affects it?
