My Cousin's Touchpad

So, my cousin has a Toshiba Satellite a215-s5837. It's a old laptop which originally ran Windows XP. He recently updated to Windows 7 and his touch pad stopped having that "scroll function" that most touchpad has. It worked before he updated. I was just wondering if anyone has a solution to this. I've tried everything, reinstalling drivers, and making sure the touchpad had the newest drivers selected. IDK anymore. We can't really restore the last backup because he doesn't have any...

check the touch pad settings

Drivers? Maybe they just suck for w7. Also there sometimes is additional software for touchpads.

Also he should've updated to w8, old pc's run better in w8.

Check manufacturers website for specific drivers.
