Spoiler in quote having issues

Browser, version and OS: 

- win 10 chrome

- android 10 chrome

 

Steps to reproduce/what were you doing before it happened?

try to open the spoiler in this reply's quote after expanding, not before expanding

 

What happened?

1) short message, doesnt seem "expand" worthy, until you open the spoiler

2) spoiler gets hidden if you dont expand, but intrudes on your own message and gets cut off by the end of the "message box" and not displaying the full picture

 

What did you expect to happen?

perhaps a dynamic window? able to resize to fit in the spoiler like how it normally does

Any other relevant details:

it is the same on mobile, that's why I tested it on PC

if you show spoiler before expanding, it works just fine
