Help with dilemma...

So I thought I had managed to get a 5800x from scan.co.uk today but looks like it went from in stock to preorder while I was in checkout and didn't realise. 

Now there's no eta and waiting for them to get back to me. 

 

Now my local computer store has a 5600x.

If they have taken the money from your account then you should get shipping details soon, however when you make an order they will reserve the funds (this does not remove them from your account but does mean you cant use them) till ready to ship. If you are in this limbo then cancelling your order will release those funds quickly but I would do it over the phone to ensure someone checks exactly where you are in the system

I'm gonna ring them tomorrow. If its a few days I'll wait if not I'll get the 5600x

Don't wait, get it, and sell it when you're getting the 5800x.

I'm not sure what is going on with Scan at the moment.

 

just got an automated email saying order placed.

 

check online it is there but only the case no 5800x???

Well the 5800X has an ETA of 30/11

 

So i'm picking up the 5600x after work today from my local.

 

not sure if i should cancel the 5800x or not
