If you look at what IP5X means, then you'll see that it's really just a load of nonsense.

"Dust protected. Limited Ingress [...] Will not interfere with operation"

Yeah, imaging that, a GPU functions even if its dusty. Obviously it still functions and obiously its protected, since it has a shroud and a backplate and the PCB is covered in some material to stop contacts from bridging.

while searching for temps of the tuf i found this dust proof feature...

 

so dust sticks on any surface and even more easily build up on moving parts
