WAN Show Livestreaming Setup

How do they have there multiple streams go out to youtube, floatplane, and twitch (specifically how is it distributed, I know they use OBS)?  It sounds like there is a pre-show on FP and twitch but it doesn't go live on youtube yet.  How does this happen/work?  Do you start a private stream everytime on YT and change it over to public?  Just curious on how livestreams work in general on YT.

IIRC you need multiple instances of OBS to cast to multiple services. That would also explain why there's pre-/after-show only on certain platforms. They don't start stream to YT until its showtime.
