I'm just wondering if Mcafee is worth getting over something like avast or avg for free? i have access to McAfee virusScan Enterprise 8.8 through my university, and normally i would never get McAfee or Norton or anything but i heard the enterprise versions are really good.

I would say no. I just use Malwarebytes (free) and then i'm careful with what links i press and what shit i download. Haven't had any virus(es) in a few years now.

I got Mcafee free from my school as well and from my experience if you try to download things sometimes it will just blue screen. Also forget about using uTorrent, I tried to get the Black Mesa mod and it blue-screened everytime. Terrible firewall program. Like the previous poster said use malwarebytes and the best anti-virus software is yourself. Be mindful of what you click and you should be fine.
