[HELP REQUESTED] Anyone with surplus computing power?

KR_STU

Hi, I'm a high school student trying to get some machine learning done. Unfortunately, the job is heavy (largest ones require VRAM > 64GB) that I can't even try to run it on the borrowed server, 2x Tesla V100.

The job is for creating a AI-based text adventure. Here is the project link(Sorry for Korean).

I would really like to use a commercial cloud, but running machine learning jobs cost around the minimum wage here :( There's no way I could afford it..

So, can anyone help me with computing power?

=====Technical Details=====

Github link

Job type: GPT-2 train

Models to train: GPT-2 small to 6.7B(if possible)

VRAM requirements: minimum 16GB, up to 128? GB(the more, the better)

RAM requirements: 16GB+

Time for training: up to 2 weeks

Actual stuff : running python scripts and training on ~100GB of datasets

Thanks for considering this. If you know someone with a cool build, please spread the word, thanks.

Do you have a computer lab at your school? They might have a fast computer.

Also, I seriously think that (sorry) no one will donate someone their own computing power for something other then something they strongly believe in. (see F@H)

please quote me or tag me @wall03 so i can see your response

-> Moved to Off Topic

Reason being that we can allow this to remain, but it will follow same ruling as with surveys.

Sure, we'll give away computing power to a 1 post account. Right after getting wired 10 thousand dollars. It's ok, I'm a Nigerian prince. You'll even get 1 million sent in return.

Uhhh... hate to say it, but you're basically asking to use someone's power and/or high-end server for free. Power costs money, as does tying up someone's server that otherwise might be used for their own money-making purposes. If someone happens to have spare computer power and doesn't mind essentially paying to run their machines for you, then great, but otherwise most people aren't going to want to do this without getting something in return...
