Last BIOS Time 16.1 seconds?!

Pessut

When i've built my PC a few days ago and installed a clean copy of Windows 10, my BIOS Boot time was around 8 seconds. Two days later, and it went to 14 seconds. Today it shows 16 seconds. Why does my BIOS Boot Time keep getting higher and what causes this?

My specs:

MSI B450 GAMING PLUS MAX

AMD Ryzen 5 3600

Nvidia RTX 2070 Super

16GB RAM

This is normal. The firmware takes its time to initialize your hardware before everything boots up. If your bios time goes over 25-30 seconds, then you have an actual issue. The bios time is from the time you turn on your computer to the bios boot screen. If this is an old installation of windows, overtime windows starts to clutter up and usually needs a defrag, or a fresh install of windows. Otherwise you're fine.

The geek himself.
