Is this a sign that my gpu is dying?

Maybe but i doubt unless there is a factory defect. What are your temps and full specs?

I will recommend an NHu12s (or an NHd15 (maybe)) for your PC build. Quote or @ me @Prodigy_Smit for me to see your replies.

cpu - Ryzen 5 2600 (stock cooler)

mobo - MSI B450m gaming plus

gpu - rtx 2060 gigabyte oc

ram - 2x8 3000mhz corsair vengeance

psu - rm650x

ssd - 860 evo 500gb

case is a corsair spec omega (wich I'm planning to change for a h500p mesh for better airflow)

cpu temps are in the 50-60c when playing

gpu temps are 50-55c when idle and 70-80 when playing

cpu and gpu are being utilized at 70-80% when playing r6 according to task manager

My previous pc was the same except for the gpu (i had a 1050 ti) and the psu (had a vs550)

Didn't ever had stutter problems with my old gpu so idk what's going on

Only thing wich is very strange to me, my cpu has a base clock of 3.4ghz but when playing it goes up to 3.7, never touched overclocking programs tho

Alright, I reinstalled drivers using ddu,I'll play some games and tell you if it got better

If you reinstalled Windows and have new drivers, I'd RMA the card.

It's not worth fucking with, just replace the thing.  If the issue persists then you have to look at motherboard, PSU, RAM, etc.

Normally a 3 sec black screen is a sign of a driver crash. If it only happens in that game though then it could be corrupt game files.

Is your card an OC edition? If so maybe try reducing the clock speed a tad and see if that helps.. I have also seen OC cards who were unstable at their increased speeds.
