What is the error code in the BSoD?

Have you installed any hardware recently? Are you overclocking anything?

I dont remember unfortunately. Ive not touched anything in ages. I was just checking shadowplay settings by opening Geforce Experience then bluescreened. same with friend.

How did you open it?

Click on the icon or alt+z?

Just asking because clicking on it can be buggy, alt z usually works no problem tho.

I know that doesn't explain the blue screen but I'm curious.

for me Alt+z wasnt working then searched it and opened it. It was updating then bluescreened. My friend I said see if it opens for you. Did the same for him.

Ah ok gotcha. Yeah alt z doesn't work when it "soft crashed" also the reason I'm using that usually.

Well I think what happened is that it tried updating while it already "soft crashed" (for lack of better word) and then obviously corrupted.

That the same thing happened to your friend is weird, but not that unlikely either.

Fwiw I updated gfe 2 days ago without issues.

Only fix I can think of: DDU your Nvidia drivers in safe mode. Reinstall drivers and hope it works!

Ok I opened geforce experience and It updated fine today. very odd. Maybe it was that tiny update or something and they fixed it overnight. For both my friend and I to bluescreen is very weird. Should of got another to try haha.
